Klaus Rosburg is the founder and principal of SONIC Design, a New York based design studio specializing in the development of consumer products, medical instruments and structural packaging. Educated in Germany, Klaus studied Industrial Design at the Muthesius Academy for the Art in Kiel and graduated top of his class. While he was at top design firms in Germany and the United States, Klaus Rosburg gained extensive experiences in the design of consumer electronics, household appliances, medical instruments and structural packaging. Nominated for the National Design Award in 2007 he has received the most prestigious design awards worldwide, most notably the Industrial Design Excellence Award, ID and CES Innovation Award. His spectrum of commercial work ranges from high-tech super computer and jet interior to toothbrushes and pill dispenser. Klaus Rosburg’s work has been published in The New York Times, I.D. Magazine, Axis, MD, Form, Interior Design, and Metropolis, to name few.
